Let’s reflect on some of the airbnb art from my various stays. I’m fascinated by decorating choices in rentals.
This assertion to never take toilet paper for granted is suitably mournful. Its placement, however, means its powerful reminder is only likely to be reviewed when one has already commenced the work for which TP is important. 7/10Lots of mirrors here with hot glued rope around them for… rusticness. Also three signs, very small, two welcoming if not to my personal taste, and then one deeply philosophical. 6/10, when averaged out.Highly dubious sequence of instructions, 2/10Framing the world’s tiniest violin. Or, actually, sans chin rest we might assume an cello or upright bass. Sans bow, likely bass. Very weird, evokes visions of a gnome jazz trio, 9/10This lamp and faux microgreens wall felt relatively contemporary and stylish. Bit of a knife twist given my life lately, but as that’s hardly the lamp’s fault and it had a nice amber glow, 8/10Dawn, midday, nighttime outhouse illustrations with cute animals, located thematically in the bathroom. Adorable, 10/10, no notes.Bewildering. Did mental somersaults trying to understand, what the alternative would be? Scooping the results with one’s hands and bringing along for show and tell?! -100/10, why does this exist.
