Dim skies meet grey eyes 
And lashes dance for rain 
Downpour once more
 Pooling puddled pain
Overcome with grief restrained

Cloud breaks no escape
And mem'ries soak the drought
Coiled back sobs crack
Letting it all out
Overcome with loss and doubt

Truth loud must ring proud
And silence won't resist
Old songs play on
Throbbing sounds that shift
Overcome with memory's bliss

Light finds new timeline
And back turns to the door
New tears deep fears
Exuded from each pore
Overcome to become more

Flint mind sparks behind
And burns through weary eyes
New day won't delay
Each dawn demands we rise
Overcome the dim grey skies

Time lost levies costs
And threatens fading dreams
Make moves or lose
Momentum of the stream
Overcome to be redeemed

New skies shift blue eyes
And lashes feather sun
Restored once more
